ANNOUNCING our second record of 2026, Tomeka Reid - dance! skip! hop! (OOYH 041) out February 13, 2026 on LP, CD, and digital! The Tomeka Reid Quartet is Tomeka on cello with Mary Halvorson - guitar, Jason Roebke - bass, and Tomas Fujiwara - drums. Tomeka has been featured on a few of our past releases (The Hemphill Stringtet, Tomas Fujiwara - Pith), but we are thrilled to be presenting this incredible album for her first release as a leader on OOYH. There is a preview excerpt up now only at Bandcamp, with singles coming out for dance! skip! hop! and Oo long! on 12/16 and 1/23 (they will only be on Bandcamp, Qobuz, Tidal, and Apple), PRE-SAVE link for those. CDs are in stock, and LPs are way ahead of schedule so get those orders in because we expect them to go fast.
